      9 a.m. - 1 p.m.. $240

Requires a commitment to learning/practicing the craft of writing, creating and revising work, experimenting with form, delving into the process of writing as much as focusing on product.  Substantial time will be provided each meeting for individual writing/revision; as well as focused conferencing on prepared pieces.  Group time will include 'shoptalk' of relevant topics and issues as well as time to hear one another's work.  Interview required for acceptance.  Perfect for the serious writer with equally serious time constraints.

WRITING INSIDE Northwest State Correctional Facility

We will continue our weekly Thursday writing circles at NWSCF with the possible addition of monthly art and writing workshops, pending receipt of an Arts Learning Grant from the Vermont Arts Council for which we have applied. Notification of awards is scheduled for early August.

Gratitude to Vermont Works for Women for their support in this endeavor!

SUMMER 2010 RETREAT: with apologies to annual attendees and those drawn to this magical time away, we need to take a break this summer for family reasons. Look for us again next summer!!!
